Our desserts are lovingly handmade by our highly skilled team owned and operated by family, and are therefore delicate by nature. 

In order to ensure that you enjoy your purchase in perfect condition, we have prepared the following information on how to carefully transport, store and serve your sans rival and brownie bars. 

Handling & Transportation

Carry your sans rival carefully.

  1. Bags and boxes should be held upright, steady and level to avoid nuts or decorations from falling off.
  2. If transporting by car, please place cake boxes onto a level, non-slip surface, away from direct sunlight and try to avoid bumpy roads! Long journeys can cause the buttercream to melt, and on this basis please try to avoid the cake being left outside the freezer for more than 30 minutes (or about 15 minutes in warm weather)
  3. On warm days, it is imperative that your vehicle have a working cooling unit (air conditioning). Please run it before your pickup until your car’s interior is cool.
  4. For our two-tiered sans rival be sure that you have space in the fridge or freezer for a box about the size of 10in x 10in x 12in

Please ensure that you read the information carefully as we at Bless’ Sweet Escape by Leng  cannot be held liable for damaged items caused by incorrect handling, transportation and set up or display, once the purchase has been handed over to the customer.


Please transfer your sans rival into the freezer as soon as possible, and keep them away from direct sunlight and heat sources. 

Shelf Life

Our Sans Rival should be stored in the freezer and Brownie Bars should be stored in the fridge and have the following shelf life from the day of purchase:

Sans Rival: 4 weeks (wrapped with plastic wrap frozen) 
Brownie Bars: 2 weeks (refrigerated) 
                        3-5 days (room temperature) 


Serve & Enjoy

We recommend removing the sans rival from the freezer 10 minutes in advance before consumption. Our Sans Rival are best serve frozen. For our prefer storage, the freezer keeps the sans rival crunchy while the fridge keeps the sans rival chewy. 

Sans Rival are ideally should not be outside for more than 2 hours as the buttercream can melt or damp conditions.

Cutting the Sans Rival

  1. Remove any candles and decorations(if applicable) before slicing your sans rival.
  2. Cold buttercream can stick to a knife and make the sans rival crumble when slicing. To ensure neat, smooth slices, simply have a kitchen cloth at hand to dip and wipe the knife blade regularly between slices.
  3. To lift your slice off the cake board, use a cake slice lifter or palette knife.

Dietary & Allergen Information

All our products are baked and prepared in our dedicated Canoga kitchen location which handle Cashew, Pistachio, Walnuts, Eggs, Dairy and Gluten (Wheat). A more detailed list of allergens can be found in the online product description.

Methods of Payment

We accept credit cards via Clover. Our pre-order schedule is often booked 3-5 days in advance and 2 weeks in advance for 2-tiered cake, so we highly recommend getting your order placed as early as possible. We do hit our limit each week and cannot take orders past that limit due to the quality of work we strive to place into each order. If you have inquired about an order in holiday seasons, bulk orders and 2-tiered cake but have not placed your payment to secure your date by the time we will not be able to add your order to our schedule at that point. 

Additional Charges – A 3.9% non-cash fee will be charged to all credit card payments. Cash payments can be made at our Canoga kitchen during business hours to secure your order. A supply charge fee is added to orders. With the dramatic change in cost of goods and payroll this fee is added to assist us in keeping the cost of our products stationary while taking in higher costs to make our products. The percentage of this fee is reevaluated regularly based on our costs.

Cancellation & Refunds Policy

Each sans rival and brownie bar is freshly made for you! If you’re unable to make it that day, we will accept cancellation at least 2 days beforehand to receive a full refund. If an order is not picked up, we can’t offer refunds or replacements and you will be charged for 100% of your order. We will not hold orders for the following day if we aren’t notified prior. Please understand we are not responsible for contacting and reminding you for your order.

We will always do our best to prepare, pack and deliver your product(s) with the utmost care. Nevertheless, accidents can happen and so we ask & suggest that you double check your order if its correct and in perfect condition upon pickup. In the unlikely event that you find your order is incorrect, incomplete or damaged, please inform our service team immediately on (310) 622-5696 and we will do our best to resolve the issue.

Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any damages occurred during delivery through an external courier. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer any refunds without the requested evidence and proof of purchase. Please note that we can only credit a refund to the card used to purchase the item.
